Last week, our NSW team recognised National Reconciliation Week by holding a smoking ceremony at our Mayfield HQ. We welcomed Matt Syron from the Awabakal Local Aboriginal Land Council, who conducted a smoking ceremony and Welcome to Country, emphasising the importance of building trust and understanding to advance reconciliation. Matt is also a former rifleman with the Australian Army, and we were honoured to hear of his experiences, which further highlighted the crucial role trust and respect play in building unity.
