Why choose One Rail Australia?
Our success is underpinned by our industry-leading safety and customer satisfaction records.
Our values include a commitment to zero injuries to all people.
While we will never settle for less than zero injuries, we are proud of our safety record and how it compares to those within the industry. In 2008, 2015 and 2019 we recorded zero injuries, while in 2017 we achieved a zero lost time injury frequency rate compared to the industry average of 7.7 (per 1 million employee hours). Together as a business and a team, we are committed to striving for zero injuries every year.
As a values-driven business, we combine innovation and process with a personalised approach to ensure a smooth and fully integrated supply chain solution. Our highly efficient operations are designed around the specific operating and delivery needs of each of our customers.
We also offer a regionalised business model. Management, including co-ordinators, drivers and rollingstock maintainers, are located in operational regions to ensure focus and accountability, with key corporate support based in Sydney and Adelaide.
For new projects, we have relevant greenfield experience and knowledge to mobilise and support our customers through the start-up phase. We are also there to assist during any ramp up periods, giving you the flexibility to succeed with new projects.

We look to provide innovative customer solutions and invest in our equipment, technology and people to create a more efficient, modern rail business. This investment is supported by MIRA, one of the world’s leading alternative asset managers, and PGGM, a leading Dutch pension fund service provider.
We are pleased to present our 2019 Sustainability Report. In this report, we consider our current sustainability policies and practices across three pillars – social, environment and governance – and we highlight some of the key initiatives that we are working on to build a more sustainable business.
We look forward to working with our stakeholders to create a sustainable future.
